A harbour city studio for apartment offices
People Harbor Workspaces started when two Hamburg planners — Mira Kessler and Jonas Brandt — got tired of seeing living rooms swallowed by mismatched desks. Mira had fitted Speicherstadt lofts for media freelancers; Jonas had redrawn Altona Gründerzeit rooms for remote analysts. They merged practices on Jungfernstieg in 2019 and kept the kit-of-parts method that still structures every page on this site.

Why modules instead of full-room makeovers
Hamburg renters change flats often; owners renovate in phases. A modular kit lets you keep the desk when you move or add storage later without tearing out the first install. We publish catalogues so clients can compare Width, Depth, Power, and Storage before we visit.
The navy and brass visual language on the site matches the physical labels we stick on sample boards in the Jungfernstieg studio.
Districts we know by floor plate
We work most in Altona, Ottensen, Eimsbüttel, Eppendorf, Winterhude, and Speicherstadt conversions. Outer districts are welcome when the brief is clear; travel notes appear on pricing.html.
Harbour humidity, brick thermal mass, and softwood joists show up in almost every measure sheet — those constraints shape the catalogues more than fashion trends.
Studio hours and drop-ins
The Jungfernstieg address is a working studio, not a showroom of finished rooms. Booked measure reviews happen Tuesday–Friday. Unscheduled drop-ins can collect printed catalogues if someone is at the desk.
Write [email protected] before you come if you need a specific lead; Mira and Jonas split site days by building type.
